Was it really a whole month ago that I wrote my last entry?
Goodness me, i'd been to China, Korea, Japan, back to Sydney for 2 days, then back to China and Korea!! not to mention that I climbed the GREAT WALL OF CHINA!
What is more incredible is that the last 72 hours entailed the filming of my 2nd music video clip as well as shoots for my up and coming EP. It was really a national affair with the efforts, creative minds and manpower of an amazing team:
Jackie Tran as photographer (Adelaide)
Andrzej Paytel (House of Ezis, Brisbane) as designer and stylist
Ohh Snap Photography (Sydney) as official behind-the-scenes photographer
TL Make Up as well as Theresa Thao (Sydney) for make up
Cinetier as Director (Sydney)
Cinematographers (Kien Luu & Adam Lowe)
Mischa Simmond (Sydney) as behind-the-scenes videographer ....
The Amjad Estate (Sydney) for letting us use their property to film (lots of love to Arfa, Aisha and Kashif as well as Mr & Mrs Amjad)
...and of course my extras (Taylor, Mischa, Laurent and Alex)... it gives me a headache thinking about all of this!
What i appreciated the most was that we all worked together as a team, no ego, just sheer hard work, sleepless nights because even though our bodies were tired, oh brains were thinking of the next day.
We sweated during the day when the sun was out (someone was looking over us for the 3 days were beautiful sunny days), we froze as we shot in the evening, we smiled and all nodded in awe during the magic hour (sunset), we went cross-country, went out of our comfort zones, cried out of panic and
All i can say is I couldn't have done it without you all, the hardwork out of pure friendship, love for the arts and the want to continually push at those creative boundaries. I SO look forward to completing the project and releasing the EP to share with everyone!
